nick.black
I have some of Karin's lovely latex hand guard and was wondering if anyone had any tips on how is best to glue them to rubber gloves? Should I do it with them on? Because as far as I can see I need them to follow the contour of the back of my hand? Cheers Nick
bjsavage7
The way I glued mine down for my TK, was I put the gloves on, put glue on the hand plates, placed them on each glove (one glove at the time), took off the glove; making sure it stayed in the right spot, and put clamps down around the edges of the hand plate. f0xtrooper
Glove on. Use superglue gel around edge for quick contact. E6000 in the middle for strength. Viola
Sonnenschein
I alwas use superglue, but only at the edges. Measure like BJ said, but glue them on WHILE you are wearing the gloves Karin
TK4702
I've used white silicone before. It worked well.
TD-4510
Dont use too much e-6000 unless you like curls
Drak
I used Loctite Ultra Gel. Works great!
nick.black
I tried loctite ultra gel and the damned things just will not bond. I am using standard black marigold gloves from my local supermarket. Any tips? Nick
Sonnenschein
Do you have the painted latex or white rubber ones?
Lasse
I have the white rubber ones but am having problems getting any glue to adhere to the handguard - any tips? I've wiped the handguard with alcohol but still nothing will stick to it...
nick.black
I managed to get mine to glue eventually after washing both the gloves and the rubber hand guards with washing up liquid, and using Loctite Precision Glue. Went through 3 pairs of gloves before getting it right though. Nick

Lasse
I always use loctite super glue with activator pen. Works best! Ah, ok - I'll try that one then. Anything I need to do to the handplates before applying the glue?
