Woodchuck here. I had to get this private commission finished in order to meet the deadline.

The bottom of the frame is 48 inches long, and the high point of the elipse is 28 inches.

It s a giant peacock wall sculpture. the technique is called "Intarsia".

There are 375 pieces of wood that had to be cut sanded and shaped

to create the different depths shown in the photo.

The elipse-shaped frame was made from dark walnut.

Pure white aspen was used for the peacock. Each piece was

hand painted by my wife and daughter.
