sith_241
What backpack kits are out there that are reasonably accurate? I am looking to hopefully build from a kit rather than a full scratch build Thanks

Quebectrooper
you forgot me ! I make kits out of wood and metal! They're heavier but they,re accurate.
sandtrooper
What tools and supplies do you need to put one of these kits together?
Quebectrooper
I was kidding i don't make kits. If you buy the parts its easier to just put em together than make them like i did. Find Pandatrooper and Scootch's builds in the backpack section. i built a nice pack following those tutorials. you'll need; -a drill or dremel, -sandpaper, -pop rivets, -the right black paint, blue paint, -glue,velcro, -L shaped aluminum brackets, -screws,nuts, -coffee,beer and chips, and the parts you can buy here from some members or make them yourself. Good luck.

sandtrooper
Pat, I wasn't talking about your "kits". I thought Dirty Boy offered a kit version of the backpack.
iconoclasta_88
You would also need, and I can't insist enough, some working gloves. -plastic belts, like the ones used to secure cables and stuff like that. -box cutter or knife -black elastic, webbing or actual backpack straps -probably screws and knots The right color for blue is Humbrol 47. For Black use Humbrol 21 or any gloss, satin or flat black. Saludos

This is like my 3rd TK suit so i have all the cutting sanding equipment i could ever use.
