TD9323 Posted February 23, 2011 Share Posted February 23, 2011 Thought I'd share this quick and easy mod on my Enfield sling. I recently bought a WoodChuck T-21 and some Enfield slings. The slings didn't fit the sling attachment that came with the WoodChuck. I had to dismantle the sling to get it to fit. I then riveted it back together. Done Just for fun. I pried it apart with a flathead screwdriver and cut the rivets off with a wire cutter. I would have used my Dremel but my baby finally fell asleep. Colic sucks. The WoodChuck Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 Woodchuck here. A trooper sent me the sling to install on the last T-21 run. I made a wider loop out of some 1/8 inch diameter steel rod, and that worked as well. That sling had a wierd machine mark on it . It looked like the brass loop got caught up in the riveting tool during original assembly. The brass loop was kinked almost all the way thru, would have broken apart during the first use. If anyone who has purchased one of my t-21's is having trouble modifying the clip to fit the sling, just send me the clip and sling and I'll mod it for you at no cost.
