I'd start by looking over the past backpack threads as well to get ideas about what people did. In the end much comes down to personal choice and how much time/money you have. The movie/screen accurate types and the Studio Creation types, which is made from boat battery boxes. This is a really good tutorial for making the Studio Creations pack.
