kf990
I was wanting to know if any of y'all had this problem and how you fixed it the front of the belt wants to slide down?
pandatrooper
The original screen used suits had 3 snaps mounted through the belt armor, canvas belt and then snapped into the ab armor. The ab armor would have the male snap mounted in the center and on the sides so that the belt snaps on. This would prevent the belt from moving at all. I have snaps installed on all of my armor builds and they never slip. This way, you put it on the same spot every time. You can see the male snaps on the armor here

troopermaster
Original armour had 2 snaps holding the belt up, not 3. This was in ANH and ESB, for ROTJ the belts were riveted directly to the abdomen and were not removable.
FIVE
Mine's riveted and glued on the front. Not accurate... but I troop a lot.

Here's a photo of the recently discovered TD, you can just make out what I think are the 2 snaps as Paul mentioned Here's a picture from Pete / Stukatroopers replica. He has the 2 snaps as Paul mentioned.
ground pounder
I put good ol' velcro on the lower ab plate and sewn into the belt. Sticks nicely. Haven't had any problems with it moving at all.
