tk0600
Well, my armor weathering was looking a bit old (been 4 years since last painting). So, I stripped all the paint away and started from scratch. What do you think so far? Figured I would start on the legs and arms and work my way in. Paul
FIVE
I like it! It's certainly more than "screen used" armor, but it looks totally authentic. Looks like you might have been one of the troopers sent out to that crazy moisture farmer's place!
DirtyBoy
isnt it fun to go back and redo stuff? the never ending quest for perfection
Gordonator
Looks good. How about a pic of you wearing everything when you are done? I like to have an overall general look of armour in one full piece.
tk0600
Will do on the pic. Nol, I took your feedback and tried to change up the technique a bit for the chest, back, shoulders and ab plate. i think that this is looking really close. Of course, I then went back and stripped away the arms and legs so that I could provide this same technique to them. What do you guys think? Pappy
Bad a** IMO I like it! Especially the chest you might want to replace those ribbed strap for the chest-back and replace it with white canvas/elastic before you continue
tk0600
Yep, its on the list. I sewed the belt. Next is the straps. Have to do this a bit at a time with a needy 4 year old running around. But all in due time. Paul
