I just verified it with the official C2 picture - there are a whopping 4 sandtroopers with black pauldrons in the pic. That's how I know which one I am. Sorry, but screw "official" rank. I own a spare black pauldron as well, but I've only worn it once for the Spike TV Video Game awards. Great people, horrible TV program though.
