Rolf Posted December 12, 2009 Share Posted December 12, 2009 Hi troops. There are a big troop event going on in Denmark, from the 19 of june to the 20 in LegoLand. People can come from the 18, and take off from the 21 ( as far as i know) First 50 get free stay, but a hotel just beside the place are for a 5 room only 35$ pr. person pr night. LegoLand will give food/drink to the first 50, but i think they are working on to more. Something about a big BBQ party, for us the 19 after the troop. There are a free bus to take the first 50, the 18 and 19 of june from Copenhagen air port. Sadly this event is not in the Copenhagen the capital of Denmark, but in Jylland around 4 hours away from Copenhagen in train (don´t know in bus). But i think this gonna be big fun, all ready over 50, and there are over 6 month to the event. As far as i have heard, the German garrison might show up whit around 40 troops (freaking cool). Date: June 19th to 20th, 2010. Place: LEGOLAND® Billund, Denmark. http://alturl.com/4grb LEGOLAND® will provide beds on 19th to 20th June and lunch will be available on both days. This offer is valid for the first 50 troopers who sign up. Participating Troopers will be allowed a 20% discount on all LEGO® Star Wars products in the biggest LEGO® store in Scandinavia and each will receive a free ticket to LEGOLAND® that can be used on any day during the rest of the 2010 season. Besides this there will be a big BBQ on the evening of the 19th. I strongly recommend that people start arriving on the 18th so that we can start the day early. Troopers needs to be ready at the entrance to LEGOLAND® each day at 10.00 a.m. and will be a part of the program each day till 18.00 p.m. A Cottage with room for 5 troopers is 178$ per day, that’s 35,75$ per trooper. They are located 300 meters away from LEGOLAND® A bus will drive ‘flying troopers’ from Copenhagen airport on June 19th early morning or on the 18th (evening). This will be decided when you have signed up and the bus will go straight to LEGOLAND®, and will return to Copenhagen airport on June 20th after 18.00 p.m. There will be droid hunting, escorting of guests / rebels, two parades each day, a photo stand for charity, droids and rebels; you name it! The full program is not completed yet, but will follow a.s.a.p. Come and visit good old Denmark, have a great troop and see LEGOLAND® in its original form. Important info: This is a Canon event, meaning that once we are in armor, we will have to stay in character, no buckets off and no smoking or drinking in public. All 501st members who sign’s up will need to be in 501st approved costumes. Something like this happen in small Denmark, and some of my good friends from FISD/MEPD comes as well from all over the world. Just too great!!! The list grows and grows, there are a few there are not add one here yet, but comes... I have heard that the german garrison will come, in great numbers too. Roger that, i´m also sure it will be a great get down there. The list is up to around 60, i hope we can reach 100 before the event comes around 6 month from now.
