TD-5491
Star Wars Fan Days 3 Plano Texas 2009 Members of both Star Garrison and Bast Alpha. Headed up a mission that started back in March of this year. The project was to be Held at Fan Days 3 which is in October. So the Great Idea was placed on what type of Fundraiser. Like the explosion from the Death Star the Idea of A Pink Royal Guard was thought of for Breast Cancer Awareness by Sovereign Protector's XO Stephen Davenport - Lucious Talvloinne TR-4126. The theme was set as in Royal Guard to help stand Guard against this Cancer. I was then contacted by Stephen to have 3 figures made of the Pink Royal Guard that would be auctioned off. Two of which have been auctioned off and both went for $300 each. Members from several other Garrisons showed up also to help in the bake sale. This sale was done as a thank you for giving donations to the cause. Over $900 was raised in the bake/ donation alone. The final total of the fundraiser at this event came to $1510. Here is Squad PINK AWARENESS. We are at 16 members in this Squad. Who do I need to submit my application LOL I also had a plan to get a back card image signed by as many star wars celebs as possible to later be auctioned off ONLY on the 501st Legion Board. I did shoot a small video which can be found here. There will be another video to follow. Here's a link to all our pics http://public.fotki.com/LA501st/star-wars-fan-days--1/ It was a great thing to be apart of and it all happened so fast.
