definatly, there is no more accurate mic tip out there.

unfortunatly noone ever did the uberaccurate mic tip with slots.

i´ll try to add the slots myself sometime when i found a way to do it.

(using a Dremel seems like no good choice, i tried it and destroyed the mic tip... :( )

Thanks Rolf, glad you are happy with them.

Thats a photo of my mic tip that i took a while ago. I don't offer them for sale though, sorry. You can always cut your own slots in though, as the ones i offer are hollow and easy to cut through.

Here are some more photos of my mic tip Its a really clean 1st gen casting of a real one. Once again, sorry i won't be offering them for sale:

Keith, can you tell us whats the real hovi's basic color is? is it white or black?

The reason i asked is this pic :)

On the left it looks like SDS covered the hovis with some tape to cover them before they painted those helmets white.

My conclusion is; the hovis were basically black colored, but accidentally sprayed white on the edge of the tip where the tape doesnt cover it perfectly

I got your ver 1-i think -(with no nipple) hovis and i want to do exact like:

1)prime the outer body black

2)cover it with tape on to the body

and then "accidently" dont cover all part of the body (especially around the edges)

What do you think? Or anybody? :)
