Is that a MP44 canvas hip pouch?

Very nice find Dutchy, maybe you have find the right one... looks very accurate from here.

Questions:

1. There are a extra room/pouch+ strap on each side, do the one we search for have the extra "room" on the left, or right side.

Or.. do the pouch we see in ANH, not have the extra "room"...

2. Are we sure we are looking for a canvas pouch, and not a leather one.

And if its canvas, a black one, or sand/green/blue... dyed black, just like the MP38/40´s.

Some of the MP44 pouches seem to have been fitted with a strap, like these ones:

...If they used this strap to secure the pouch to the sandtrooper's belt, that might explain why it's hanging at an angle, away from the TD's body:

...And, if this is the case, judging by the angle, it's the version with the small tool pouch and the strap on the right we're after (that is, the version on the left in the top picture). But I'm just guessing here, naturally.
