I had an old fibregalss TK lid floating around so I thought I'd have ago at doing one myself. Started off filling all the unwanted holes with auto body filler... After sanding back to nice smooth edges, I coated it in spray-on sandable primer putty, to fill in any pin holes and scratches... After the second coat of white primer... I'm used to heavy lids Zac, I have 4 fg buckets, and this is nothing compared to the MR Vader If they're padded out properly you hardly notice. Wow! That looks great! What does the rest of the armor look like? Or suppose to look like? I have absolutely no idea. I got the idea from a helmet listed on Canadian ebay a week or so ago. I didn't get the necessary clearance to buy one so I thought I'd have a go a making one.
