sandtrooper
At the front's prices for those pouches seem high compared to other places.
Kaptin Kaos
If you're looking for the real deal... It will be pricey. The original WWII MP40 pouches did come in many varieties. I think this is the best example of what they really actually used for that shoulder pouch. http://www.germanmilitaria.com/Heer/photos/H079361.html The small tool pouch isn't sewn "middle of the road", but rather sewn from opposite edges along the back seam of the farthest right mag pouch. These are extremely hard to find and extremely pricey. You can try to get them at auction houses like www.manions.com or similar. I got a set of combat worn through a friend on there for a LOT less than what you see the others advertised for, but I got really lucky and had them snapped up for me before they hit the block. Just my 2 cents.

Kaptin Kaos
Here's a decent reproduction that I found for the shoulder pouch. http://www.militarytour.com/reproductions/ww11/german/Uniforms/Mp40.htm A bit pricey, but a LOT less than a real WWII pouch. These are pretty nice, but still not totally accurate. Most of the tool pouches are sewn on wrong, lol! http://www.kelsmilitary.com/files/Download/EQ83A.jpg

Kihl
Just got mine today, they changed the stitch on the leather straps to the correct "U" shape, so thats one thing I didnt have to mod! One question, if I wanna wear the non tool pouch one, do I need to shift the D ring to the opposite side so it matches the location on the one w/ tool pouch? Well, i guess it depends on what you are aiming for... But, For 501st clearence no need to do it.For police officer, actually, no need to do it either...For Swat, you would have to add the tool pouch anyway and the yes, shift it... But even if it is not needed, if you want to useit on your shoulder, i would say do it anyway... Will look better for sure. Saludos
