Critique my TD weathering.

Recommended Posts

i've redone most of it and here it is. i need to pick up some gray and black for the extra bit of depth. i think this will work for now.

You might want to get rid if the lines in your tear traps before you carry on and if you have them in your back vents, those too. Other than that looking good.

You new updated weathering looks way better.

The first one was way to paint looks a like, too white vs. a colour.

One other thing, the colours looks off too.

Either too red, or yellow like.

I buy two sets, of the woodland series.

I then mix my own, more sandy like colours to get the yellow and red out of them.

I them put them all over the suit.

Start whit the light ones, then i work it up to the darker ones and put them into the detail areas.

I then take a wet, and a dry cloth.

Dab it here and there, first wet then dry.

This way, you donĀ“t take all the colours off.

But leave a shadow fade like dusty area, and make it look old and used.

Here you see mine ;) .

Rolf.

because i like to build props and parts! i just need to pick up some ABS and snaps/straps to wrap it up :)

plus, i just finished this beast, so things should be moving a little faster!
