Hey Rolf as usual very speedy work there!

Are the strips in 20mm for the legs and 15mm for the arms?

As for painting is it necessary to sand the whole suit? Will you be using primer?

It will be great if you could document the painting process in detail.

Enough playing with your nose and get back to work!

Does the TE2 armor qualify as the most faithful re-creation of screen used ANH Sandtrooper armor or is it another case of personal preference?

Helmet recast of a ANH helmet.

Body recast of a ROTJ modify to ANH...

Copy that.

I use 2 cm for the legs and skin bone.

1,5 cm for the bicep.

1 cm for the arms.

In denmark we got many different spray cans.

Mostly the matt german BELTON, and the glossy spanish MONTANA.

The montana have a better white base in it, and you can´t get it off again.

They got about 4 different whites, over the more milky white.

I go for the glossy pure white, because when the weathering and hair spray comes on.

It will be more yellow looking any way, so spray it whit a too yellow white will be too much.

Yeah but the weekend is over and i work full time.

But i will take care of him when i get home.

Move a long....

Hmmm, I did take a few more mm's for the strips, otherwise it wouldn't fit nice and snugly So I hope that in the accuracy part, that it doesn't matter that much... I did use for the bicep approximately 23/ 25 mm and for the forearm about 15/ 18 mm wide strips.. But when you put it on you don't see a thing about it..

Grinding, glue-ing and assembling all the way

Copy that, as long you go about 1 cm on the thinest part.

And up to about 2 cm, for the bigger ones.

It will all look good there .

Latest picture.

All parts trim down, so they fit perfect.

And sand paper the trim cut one extra time, so all the parts feels very smooth.

**** i´m slow in the working days, but its soon weekend.

I hope to paint and glue it there.

Then humbrol brush hand paint the helmet next week, and he´s there.

Here you go:

You may think you're slow, but it seems to go fast from this chair. Well done Rolf

Thanks bro, i even get tired home after work every day.

And have a wife, and a small cat to take care off.

But now its weekend .

My plan is to paint, and glue, add the rubber bands it this weekend.

Then i only need to hand paint the helmet, and weather it all.

Then its patrol time

Wow Buddy! You are jammin'!

Love the pics Man you'll be wearing that thing in no time! Ha ha!

Excellent progress / work !

Thanks my man.

The monster will be all done in a few days.

One thing there might gonna slow me down...

I have check out 3 types of spray paint, and test them on the extra trim off plastic.

Brands like:

Belton, Montana and quick.

None of them was 100% nice, if you take your nail down on it hard.

The paint comes off.

I have just called a hobby shop up.

They got some spray cans, made for plastic only.

High in price, but real strong surface

Move a long... clik.. clik..
