I wrapped one sling around the front of the barrel and inserted the fabric through clasp. I connected the other end to the other sling. The other sling goes through the sling swivel on the stock. This is a somewhat hi-res photo of my T-21, hopefully it will let you open it in full size so you can see how the 2 connect.
