TD1149 Posted April 12, 2005 Share Posted April 12, 2005 I wasn't in armor last time but I think they started in the lobby of the Hyatt. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I just assumed that's what we were talking about. I'm not sure if it will be the same place this time or not, but wherever we line up lets plan on taking a little extra time to get some pictures taken. tk432 Posted April 14, 2005 Share Posted April 14, 2005 As of yet.. It is still Saturday morning. After thinking it over last night. I’m doing to legion photo, don’t care if it conflicts with Lucas.. The photo is the number one reason I’m going to C3... (I’m hoping Lucas will join us for our photo before his panels begin.) A note about the picture. They want a big sea of white.. Well.. how about we give them their sea.. With a nice large brown smug of dirty troopers WHOS WITH ME. Another side note.. Only about 10,000 people will see Lucas.. Out of an estimated 50,000 going to C3.. We have a chance.. Of getting a picture of over 500 troopers in one place.. And possibly with Lucas right in the front. tk432 Posted April 14, 2005 Share Posted April 14, 2005 OK>> C3 pic has been moved OK, this will likely screw up someone's plans no matter what day or time we do this, but (PER TIM) the group picture has been rescheduled to Sunday morning instead of Saturday. Yes, some of your are leaving Saturday night and others Sunday morning/afternoon, but this is the best alternative for logistical purposes. As others have mentioned, there will be members who really, really, really want to go to George's panel and skip the group photo to ensure their place in line. Here is the new timeframe which I have been asked to repost everywhere. I would like to have each CO who plans on having troops at C3 repost it on their perspective message boards as well. SUNDAY, APRIL 24 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. Meet in the Hyatt lobby in armor (as we did at C2) 7:30 - 7:45 a.m. Line up in order of costumes 7:45 - 8:00 a.m. March from the Hyatt to the steps of the RCA Dome 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Group photo (movie canon first, EU and others next) 8:30 - 8:45 a.m. Misc. photos (garrisons, squads, etc.) 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. Working troops to their posts. Again, this change is due to the dull roar of those not wanting to miss a rare opportunity to see George speak in person. At this time, there is still no confirmation that any Legion members will be escorting George to any of his presentations. As always, that is subject to change but the chance of it happening is still pretty slim at best. This info is current as of 4/14/05 at 4:00 p.m. Central Time. Am I the only one who did this? Maybe I'll go to the breakfast at 7:00 in armor and grab my autograph, figure and grab bag and then show up at the Hyatt at 7:30 to start lining up.
