bad aim
Where can I find a deactivated sterling that dosen't cost $600? Aren't DAed ones worth around $300? It looks like IMA is out of them Thanks

SethB6025
I think the going rate will be closer to the 500+ range, however a nice resin copy can be had for around $150, and hyperfirm makes a nice trooping E11 for a little under $300. The best is to buy from Sci Fire but use a buddy down here to send it to. Then have your buddy send it to you. There usually aren't any problems with person to person ship. I don't think Sci Fire will ship it out of the US.

jimbo890
Deactivated sterlings 4 or 5 years ago were about $300. Long since dried up, and demand has caused the price to go up. IMA had them and so did cheaper than dirt. Both were 'lumpy' Jim

I modified the clip and added some of the other parts, then sold it to a fellow Garrison mate for $400.

jimbo890
I just saw an ad in the Shotgun News, that Catco has some 75 parts kits still available. $500 per kit, but thats about as real as it gets. I thought these were long gone. FWIW Jim
TD-4242
I just got a parts kit that I paid about $600 for. I started welding it back together as a non-functional replica and found that about a 2"section of the reciever tube is missing. Luckly I can get one from here http://www.sksparts.com/receivertubesAN ... DDTUFF.htm for $20 and cut off the 2" I need and weld it in place. I also got one of their high dollar 80% cut tubes. I am going to use it to asseble a really nice resin parts kit onto. -Bill
