Strap attatchment

I used rivets for mine and haven't had a problem with them coming off...the strap material is some pretty heavy webbing material. I'm curious as to what method you finally used. I may want to redo my straps if I can get those rivets out...they're in there pretty tight.

I decided to go with a screw and nut combo. I ran the screws through the outside of the tub and then ran it through the strapping that is on the inside of the tub. Fastened it down with a nut with a little loctite on it. ANd then, as added insurance, I covered the entire nut in hot glue. It ain't going anywhere! My only fear with this set-up is that the stress may eventually tear the straps from the screw. I added a second screw to each strap in an attempt to distribute the load more evenly. I think this may have gotten it, but, as you all already know, it is all a work in progress, right?! Thanks for the interest and I hope this helps.
