Need a question ask on the backpack?

So this question must of been asked before. I am preparing to build up my Anovos to a Sandy. I notice that the backpack is an option and that is a good thing for me because I would love to build it later down the road. Can I still get “approval” of the Police officer program without the backpack and rock out the pauldron and pouches? If I do build the backpack, can I reuse my request for my backpack included with the assembled armor?
Thank you all troopers! Happy New Years!

:td:

Hello and welcome,
No, you can't. You need the backpack for Level 2 (Police Officer). It is optional only for Basic.

Regards bigwam

Thank you for the response. If I choose basic approval how do I request that approval?

Welcome! Fresno county is part of the Central California Garrison, and their garrison roster is here - http://www.501st.com/members/garrisonroster.php?garrisonId=26. Looks like they have 2 GML's (Garrison Membership Liaison), and you could email either of them.

PS. This page has a lot of these leadership acronyms and their meanings on it - https://databank.501st.com/databank/OperationsProtocol#Section_3:_Elections It gets confusing and we love our acronyms here lol

PPS. This too - https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/9510-common-acronyms/

To answer your question- ANY approval done via a GML is a 'basic approval'.

Any approvals above that are done at the detachment level (in our case, here on the MEPD forums in the "request PO status" or "request SWAT status threads).   Note that not every detachment has tier 2 or 3 approvals though.
