Starkids1990 Posted December 2, 2004 Share Posted December 2, 2004 Hello, I've been lurking about for a long while now and as of tonight I finally have finished my Sandtrooper armor!!!! I custom sculpted this out of water based clay, casted it in POP, Molded in POP and after building my own vac table with a 5hp shopvac, pulled it in .100 hips plastic. I wanted to do Sandy first because....they are the bada$$es of the Empire!!!!! I'll be applying soon to the 501st and once I get my backpack and BFG done (scratch built as well) I'll be ready to join the MEPD!!!! Hope to see you guy's soon!!! Now I'm waiting for my "real" Mp38-Mp40 pouches from a guy in Norway, I won off ebay for $5.50 for a pair!!!!!!!! Should be getting them this week. Then I'll be as MEPD as I can get this suit. Going on my FIRST troop Jan 29th. The Carolina Garrison is doing a fund raiser for Katie Johnson in Raleigh NC.
