Airborne Trooper
Your thigh ammo plate is mounted too high on the thigh. It should be mounted on the ridge like so:
Battle Lion
I had it mounted lower but it interferes with walking. My MTK kit is a bit big especially in the legs. I can move it down though if necessary
Airborne Trooper
Yeah, your thigh armor is really long on you. I would highly suggest trimming it down some. I'm surprised your GML did not recommend this during your basic approval process. I would not be able to walk around at all with my thighs like that. Battle Lion
I can walk fine and even climb stairs, it just makes a lot of squeaking noises I got certified as EIB just last year so I'm not sure why no modifications were suggested. My basic approval was in 2015 What is required for this to get approved as deployed?
DerGummo
I got two littel things. You need to twist your forearms a littel bit. The Coverstrips must be in one line frome bizeps to forearm. And your Pauldron looks al littelbit thin and not so puffy. It looks a little bit wrinkelt. I hope you know what I mean. Don't know the correct english word for it. What kind of material is it? It looks like vinyl or something like this. By the way, I like your weathering. Looks nice.

Hi Matt, as Bigwam said, you will have to post your pics directly in this thread, so to avoid any misunderstandings, just adding a link is not enough. As I see you use imgur, so that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck with your deployment!

Battle Lion
i cant seem to upload all my pictures to this topic. there is a size restriction of 133.12 KILObytes per reply. several of my pictures are larger than that and i'd have to do at least 34 replies, provided the restriction size doesnt go down further, which i already saw it do cant the imgur gallery suffice? there is no size restrictions there and its already done and linked? or is there another option? thanks, -Matt
Hausi
Personally, I use flickr, but it should work the same with imgur, you just have to copy your pictures from imgur to your post.

bigwam
Ok Matt, i use directupload.de I'm doing an exception here. The effort is not great, so - if I still want more pictures, you still make it by yourself. I start your review later at this day.

bigwam
If it is already done, please make complete new pics from you in full armor, with the right gloves and all the other modifications. There is something that does not fit together. Don´t forget the pics without backpack. Full Armor pic without screws, detail with screws. Other gloves and so on. And please - show the pics here in the MEPD - not with a link. The pics are to big? You can downsize them with tinypic. bigwam
Battle Lion
Thanks for helping me out with that. Wasn't having much luck with the file size limits. Most of those mods are easy. I'll get on them. I did the screws on the chest plate after I took the armored up photos, and I have two sets of gloves, one for accuracy and one for trooping, so that's probably where the confusion is coming from. The screws on the chest plate are not listed anywhere in the crl so I only found out about them after I took my pictures. Perhaps they should be added to the crl if they are required? I am using this crl as reference, is this the most updated version? http://www.mepd.net/crl/#MEPDRequirements I am confused though on the mortar tube. Do I need to lower the tube? And move the white O2 canister plate upwards? And what's wrong with the lid on the tube? Is it too big? Thanks again for the help -Matt
bigwam
Hi Matt, you are right, but it is written in the 501st CRL: To modify the mortar tube: Cut the detail here: The lid is to thick, compare with this one : Regards bigwam
Battle Lion
Ah too thick. i see now, thanks! As for the CRL, i didn't think to check the 501st page. Could we please update the CRL here since this is the main, best source for TD information?

Battle Lion
round two. added wire to DLT19. got a new pauldron and leather hip pouch. changed mortar tube cap. shortened mortar tube detail plate. closed gap on helmet (it isnt glued down all the way and shifts sometimes. glued it down... again...). included picture that shows nose hole cutouts. photos now show chest plate screws. wearing my latex hand guards instead of just linking a picture to me holding them. changed shoulder strap to once piece. including bucket off photo. on a related note, i didnt know i could just link pictures and have them embed in the post, i thought i had to upload the pictures directly. sorry for the confusion there, i dont use forums much. bigwam
Hi Matt, looks good. But one thing: look at the right position of the wire on the T-Tracks (and please, no wire with plastic):
