Plainsrunner
I find my biggest movement restriction in my armor seems to originate from my RS neck seal. Are all seals created equal or are there less movement restrictive alternatives out there?
Airborne Trooper
Depends on the style you have. Some are stiff. Mine is a cloth one and I hardly notice it's even there. Some guys have the big neck seals with bibs built in.
Plainsrunner
Well RS is pretty darn stiff and has the bib. However I’m trying to balance authentic with functional. Let’s face it— trooping for 4 hours with a stiff neck is challenging.
Volksjager
I use a cloth neck seal as well. I wear one with my Tie pilot and we don’t have to, but I think it looks a lot better. So when it came to getting one for my TD I got a second one from Darman. Cloth is breathable and movement is good.

GilFran007
I'm getting mine from Geeky Pink's Phantastic Gaskets on FB....she's knows as Soulart on FISD, a member of my Garrison (Badlands), and a wonderful lady as well I'm getting mine in a week so I can let you know then. There are a lot of happy troopers with her product though.
Fraulein
I made mine. It has two pieces at the back. There is the collar and then a tab that is separate. The ends of the collar have Velcro, and the tab piece is the softer side of Velcro. This way it is adjustable. When I do wear it, I usually wear it loose, as I don't want to overheat.
