Thanks fore the quick answer. So it looks like this at the moment is this alright? It's only held in place with tape on the inside, just ignore the clamp and the magnets.

Made a bit of progress over the last days.

All parts are glued with coverstripes.

img_6687.jpg

The hooks on the shins are installed:

img_6690.jpg

Hade to glue some foam in the upper arm to sit tighter:

img_6689.jpg

I ordered my neckseal from Darman and bought some functional underwear at a local motorcycle shop.

Final to-do liste:

  • Strapping the thigh
  • Strapping the arms
  • Finish off helmet
  • Decide on pauldron colour and order it

Helmet is'nt finished, still waiting for the parts from RS. I woul'd say the forearm armor needs to got up a bit. The uppder arm armor parts can't go down any more, so the gap betwenn the gloves and the forearm armor will become bigger.

Looks good just gotta raise those forearms up like you said. The bottom of your biceps should be above the bend in your inner elbow and the forearms should be just below. You look like you have long arms so unfortunately you'll have a bit of a gap but I suppose that's better than what us short guys have to deal with and have even less arm mobility.

Raised the sniperplate and reduced the diameter of the thighs.

Just a little update, started painting the helmet. Still missing some parts from RS, they should be on the way.

img_6780.jpg

img_6779.jpg

Raised the abdominal part.

The pauldron and the necksael were both shipped yesterday, can't wait for them to arrive.

This wasn't planed, but I found the parts in the hardware store. So I though why not.

Great work so far.  One thing that I noticed is that your belt snaps are on your cod instead of the ab plate.  You make it work by lowering the snap location on the belt.

I'm not sure if that is an issue at PO or SWAT levels.....but should be good to go for standard approval still.

@Hausi Thanks

@GilFran007Thanks for mentioning, I already know about that. I don't think thats an issue, it's just to hold the belt in place and can't bee seen if the belt is attached. The belt came with attached snaps and I did't changed the location. The hole you can see on the belt, was one of the snaps I palced. It was in the wrong spot so I hade to change it.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but as I see it, it is like the strapping on the armor the outside must be screen accurate but the inside doesn't matter. If thats an issue, than I can eassily fix it with abs sludge.

As expected the pauldron (Trooper1) arrived today. Looks great, I'll make a test fit of all parts in the evening. So now only the ears are missing.

I'll lower the forearm and the biceps a bit more to close the gap to the gloves.

Did a first weathering approach, only burnt umber. I'll possibly ad some darker colour and a final wash.

Looks a bit light on the pictures, but it's darker in real. I added a bit more details on the ab. I although removed the white line under the eyebrow you can see in the picture above.
