henselmonster
Working on my Bapty! Here are some progress photos so far, its been a process over a few months of gathering the parts and everything. It has a metal pipe for the body, a real sterling folding stock, a direct cast from a real M40 scope, a real counter. I'm super happy with how its turning out. Need to do a bunch of mods still but Its close to painting.

henselmonster
First layer of primer. I'm pretty happy with how this is turning out
henselmonster
Coming along. Should be adding the trigger guard today and do another coat of black then onto weathering and adding the scope rail and everything.
henselmonster
Still on the fence for my power cylinders. I have a resin one ready to go, but I would love it to be more authentic. Though they are fairly pricey for metal cylinders. Stupid money, always getting in the way of authenticity!
henselmonster
Testing out scope and counter rail before weathering

henselmonster
Weathered! Added a bit of diluted red-brown acrylic paint and wiped away for to give it a little rusty look. Adding trigger guard next

henselmonster
I was super lucky to obtain a real 1942 M40 scope! Just added it to my blaster and its amazing. The blaster is almost 100% finally! Last but not least I need to add that trigger guard and touch up the paint a bit and this sucker is all done.

Asher
That looks awesome , Very nice work. I have a question about the “T-tracks”. i purchased some that are soft rubber and I have had a very hard time getting them to stay on a painted surface, I would love to know what you used to attach them with. Asher Thanks! I used a dab of E6000 on each end to keep them in place. But my T Tracks are hard plastic. I’m not sure what would work best on rubber, I guess it depends on the type of rubber.
