Striders Backpack build with found parts

Well done, looking really accurate, Constantin!

Do you plan to build the supporting part beneath also from scratch?

I'll take five, please!   :engel:

This is how I shortened the bottles. Not really a "how to" guide but the best I could currently come up with...

Building the mounting rack for the capacitators. I used a dremel to drill out the oval parts for the capacitators to sit on:

Great work, you must be very happy with the finished pack.

BTW, do you have a measurement of the frame and the large pipe. Just wondering if the new trays meant cutting down more from the frame and adjusting the pipe to suit?

Thank you for your kind words gentlemen, much appreciated!

Btw, I forgot to mention; the Shires UP 100 syphon I had was a bit too long (about 2 cm) and needed to be shortened. So when you're looking for an accurate syphon I'd recommend the 90 version (not sure if there are 80ies as well).

Cheers

by the way, would you be willing to share the  measurements for your exhaust pipe? I will probably 3D print one and I'm hoping i can get a close as possible.

Thanks

Sure thing. I think somebody else also inquired about some measures so here goes:

What is the width of your pack?  I see the height but no witdh (seed tray size, etc.). I probably missed it.

Hey,

the seed tray has a width of about 36,3cm incl. the lip. Hope that helps!

@Strider I am currently working on my mods to my Shires UP100. I am planning on shortening it by about 2CM could you show where you cut yours to shorten? Thanks man!

Strider used an UP90 for his Pack, this is shorter. Some Packs were built with an UP90 and some with an UP100. The Move Along Pack is built with an UP90.

Sorry this is what I was referring to. I was under the impression he modded his.
