I took the leap and got in the wait list for an ATA kit. I was able to get the helmet while I wait so I wanted to post a few photos. The TDs were always my favorite so this begins my armor journey. I'd like to know if the pauldrons and mp40 pouches from trooperbay are acceptable for SWAT. deckard1138 Posted December 29, 2016 Author Share Posted December 29, 2016 Good advice, thanks! I found a few threads and YouTube videos that I keep going through. I should have the lenses in today. I decided to use sugru (an adhesive putty) to adhere nuts around the eye openings so I can screw individual lenses in. Trying to decide on what type of pads or liner to use as well as researching the electronic components.
