Hi Lee

Thank you for your interest in joining the elite and submitting your request for SWAT OFFICER

activation.

Your gear is on spot and like Strider said: it is nice to see a not so common trooper!

The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor a full inspection and review.

Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given

until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, brother!

So don't waste any time Felix:-) (yes it's me).....

Ok Lee. I just have to find some more references. You are totally right with your comments at the beginning

in your introduction: you emulate this specific trooper. But for my conscience I have to check These specific things.

Side note: your weathering is really authentic and on spot! But I fear that we have to go into some discussions.

Ok Lee, this Review will be my hardest one. Your trooper is really really nice.

But I will do an excellent Job and in the best case to improve your armor (probably just a Little bit)- and that

will need some time:-/

Please stand by bro......

Cheers,

Felix

HI Lee,

I will manage your application something different to other SWAT applications.

At the Moment I have a heavy loaded Desktop in the Office AND your application, or better: the references,

are really tough to identify (but that's why I love this trooper and I love competitions:-) )

So I will begin with the helmet (the blaster is finished).

Is this way ok for you?

I am not sure with the mesh of the mic tips because I never saw this kind of finely webbed mesh. If I compare the meshes of all references from starwarshelmets they more look like a little bit rougher. If you can Show me your Kind of mesh in a reference Picture I am fine. Otherwise you have to Change the mesh please.

I will now Show you a Picture of the back of the helmet and I tried to mark the spot which I am missing on yours:

This spot is not a chipping spot like the rest. For me it is some Kind of dirt. Please try to replicate it.

Alright dude! I really hope that we will have some fun on this application and in this review. For me it is a really good reference and you are on the right way to become a MEPD SWAT memeber....but not doing the second step before the first:-)

Thank you and Cheers,

Felix

Hi felix. Thanks for the reply. With regard to the weathering marks are you talking about the chip being more of a dirt Mark or that there is additional dirt above the chip? Which I can add no probs. This is the closer detail pic I used which shows a chip.

With regard to the mic tips. Can you provide a little more clarity or an example of the 'rougher' look please.

Many thanks.

Lee.

I see what you now mean about the Mesh. My tip Mesh weave has smaller cross section gaps so I need a Mesh which has larger gaps in the weave. These where the origonal tips that received with the helmet when I purchased it.

I will source the correct mesh.

Almost there brother.. From what i remember the mesh in the mics on some, not all buckets was a tight screen door mesh, some was a lighter (more space) screen door mesh. 90% were a stainless as well...

Im sure another veteran member will speak up about the correct mesh.. :duim:  here is a pic of mine...

Probably I missed it but I have to see your neck seal.

I see a White spot on your left shoulder bell very clear on the following Picture. Is it a tape or missing weathering?

The gap between the TD Panel and the upper Cup is a little bit bigger in the reference as yours-please try to change it.

I marked on your pack the lower trays. I see a black line or something similar but I can't find it in the reference-please help me out:-)

Cheers felix.

The mark on the seed tray is actually the pack strapping which as become stuck and ended up sticking out. Apologies.

The white patch is tape. Covering my ukg decal.

I will.drop the panel this evening and post a pic.
