Hopefully nearly done- WIP weathering pix

My plan for weathering was to go for a "Screw General Veers, he's not coming down to this godforsaken catbox of a planet, so I'm going to do the bare minimum gear maintenance!" sort of look.
I basically wanted all the smooth/raised areas to look moderately clean, but with gunk in all the recesses.

What do you all think? Did I hit the mark?

After everything is complete I'm going to give the legs and torso a light dusting of sandy brown with my airbrush.

Thoughts?

Thats a great start for sure. As Love Monkey said above more on boots but not too much..  Might i suggest a dark wash for the armor, just to dull it up and keep the shine at bay.

i have found that using a damp rag and a darker mixture of acrylic paints applied to the damp cloth then blotted & swirled onto armor helps keep a consistent dull look to the armor and minimizes the shine..

Great start non the less trooper :duim:
