TD-82573 "Airborne Trooper" Tour of Duty, 21 Arrests

Recommended Posts

I just wrapped the white part in plastic wrap and used pink duck tape over it. Was worried that it would either take off weathering or ruin the leather. It held up and the tape touching the underside didn't ruin anything luckily!

If I could please get an admin to remove the 2016 from the title of my thread so I can just use this one, I would appreciate it.

First troop of 2017 was at the Albany Devils game last Saturday evening. We had our biggest participation for this even ever this year and overall had a great time interacting with fans. Thank you, Kim and Dave Ramsey for the photos!

2nd troop of 2017 was the annual Hannaford's Kidz Expo in Albany. This is actually my anniversary troop as the one in 2016 was my very first troop. Had a great time and was swamped by fans wanting high fives and pictures all day.

May 6-7 Saratoga Comic Con

We were able to build our Imperial wall prop just in time to display it at this event. We also started Blast-A-Trooper and was able to raise over $250 for our local charity. I had such a great time but my back is definitely feeling it today haha.

I'm not sure how we pulled it off, but we managed to have 3 Darth Vaders troop on Saturday!!!

Thank you. Already beginning talks on building a 2.0 version with lighter materials. We shall see. We want to build a blast door and incorporate that into our Blast-a-Trooper setup.

On May 12th, TI 10795 and myself trooped Colonie Library's Jedi Academy Night. Lots of activities and even a flight simulator setup.

Had a great troop where we broke in two new members on their first troop with the legion, Kylo Ren and Mara Jade.

Great picture!

Was it taken by a Deathtrooper? I can see the helmet at the bottom of the pic :)

I think it was a little kid with a Deathtrooper mask stepping in front of the camera

Spent last weekend at the Strong Museum of Play in Rochester for their In Another Galaxy weekend. Got to meet many Rebel Legion members as well as our neighbors to the north from Canadian and Capital City Garrison. We even had a few members from Empire City Garrison make the trip! I had such a great time and really refreshed my love for this hobby. The Canadians love their props and they were gracious enough to bring them for the weekend. Enjoy the photos!
