Strider
Revisited the brow trim of the helmet since I have not been entirely satisfied with it. The light and angle of the comparison shot are little different but I think/hope it's pretty close now. Standing by...

Felice
Hi Constantin, I will start your review in the next view days. Please stand by.... Just one little note to your bucket: for me there is too much dirt under the left eye (or show me another reference) and please check the middle tooth...i see a little bit more white above and below Thank you and Cheers, Felix
Strider
Hey buddy, great to see you in full swing already Thx for the pointers, completely agree. Here is a picture of the mods:
Felice
Hi Constantin! Thank you for your interest in joining the elite and submitting your request for SWAT OFFICER activation. Your gear is on spot and your emulated trooper is immediately recognizable. But each new SWAT candidate gets looked at even more so from the previous trooper and the bar gets raised even higher. You are definitely on the right track though. As stated before, we always stress patience during this process as we pay more and more attention to fine tuning with each new SWAT applicant. The MEPD Senior Commanders and myself will give your armor a full inspection and review. Some details may definitely be missed and re-checked, but we will try to catch them on every pass given until you are cleared and ready to join the Special Weapons & Tactics Team, brother! With that said, let us begin......... MEPD SWAT OFFICER: application review part 1 Name: Constantin Slotty Legion ID#: TD16080 Forum Name: Strider Garrison: German Garrison ANH Sandtrooper selected: Cantina Captain Helmet: Green lenses: check Paint color on traps / tears: check Paint color and number of teeth: see comments Mic Tips: check Vocoder color: check Rank bar: check Brow: check Side Screws (ears): check Weathering: check **Additional Comments** Take a close look on the far left side of the teeth. It seems to be that some grey color is missing in the edge **Result on helmet** PENDING Armor / Suit Details: see comments full picture Canvas straps shoulder: check Neck Seal: check Black Undersuit: check Shoulder Bells: check Biceps: check Forearms: check Pauldron: check Chest / Back Plate: check see comment full picture Kidney / Butt plate: check see comments full picture Ab plate / Side Rivets / Cod: check Strapping: check Tighs: check Shins / Calves: check Sniper Plate: check Boots: see comments Gloves: check Hand plates / Guards: check Ammo Belt (waist) w/ correct angled edge: check Ammo Belt (right knee): check Canvas Belt: see comments full picture Pouches: see comments Weathering: see comments Crotch Snaps: check **Additional Comments** Full picture: need a front and back full body pictures without the weapon and backpack Boots: The boots never shown in the Cantina scene but we know that the armor of the Cantina Captain is the same as armor of the Docking Bay Squad Leader Captain (at least the upper armor, arms and bucket). As the picture shows the Docking Bay boots have nearly the same color intensity as the lower leg (calves) armor. So please remove some brown from the boots Constantin to match the reference. Canvas Belt: need a picture of your belt Pouches: Take a close look to the position of the loop of the shoulder pouch. On the reference shot the end of the loop ends on the same line as the lower edge of the left shoulder. On the reference you can also see that the shoulder pouch is a little bit higher as yours and (probably) the loop is a bit shorter. You will find a solution...I know that:-) Weathering: This is the biggest challenge for every SWAT application and no one will match the weathering to 100%. We all know that. The Cantina Captain is one of the most difficult trooper to emulate and you did a really great job to match the original! I just found some spots which need some rework.... Right shoulder bell front side Right shoulder bell and biceps right side Left biceps **Result on Armor** PENDING BACKPACK Details: see comments Weathering: check **Additional Comments* You did a lot of research for this particular pack and you bring your backpack on a new level of accuracy! I just have to discuss some details of your pack with the Senior Command...probably I'm too fussy;-) PLEASE STAND BY..... **Result on backpack** PENDING WEAPON: DLT19 Details: check Weathering: check **Additional Comments** **Result on Weapon** CHECKED & CLEARED It looks like a very red review / feedback brother but these are just minor changes and you are definitely on the right way to set a new SWAT standard for the Cantina Captain! **MORE REVIEWS/COMMENTS COMING Cheers, Felice
SID
Wonderful follow the path to the SWAT
Strider
Allrighty, nobody ever said SWAT was for the faint-hearted... I like that :-))) Here we go: Bucket: The grey color now extends to the far left side of the teeth. Armor: I went to the shoe shine boy and told him to give it all he's got - this was the result ;-) Unfortunately, my wife is out for ladies night tonight, so it was just me, myself and the mannequin. Canvas Belt: Picture of the adjusted pouch: I've shortened the loop ends a bit and sewed the shorter pouch to the larger one so it wouldn't hang down. In regard to the reference picture I was finding myself quoting Luke when he wore a stormtrooper helmet for the first time ;-) Right shoulder bell and front biceps: Left biceps: Back shot (the pole from the mannequin pushes the butt a bit out): Give me a shout if I forgot anything! Cheers
