*DONE* TD-42701 Requesting Deployment

Recommended Posts

Dude, first let me say awesome build! It looks like it fits you really good! But here are a few things I see:

Weathering looks pretty good, but need to be way dirtier and more shades of dirty. Just looks a little to clean.

Same with your pack. Looks like a great build man, but too clean!!! This is all about being dirty!!!!!!

Not sure if the rivet head in the ab is required, but is a nice addition to detail. Easy add...

And you might want to post a solo pic of your canvas belt, they will likely ask, but dirty up it up more before you do :)

Put something in your shoulder ammo pouch so it does not look empty

And your blaster is awesome!!! And way too clean!!!!! Dirty that thing up dude!!!!!

Again, great build dude, good luck!!!!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I will definitely get to them ASAP. I just replaced the 4-button to the 3-button and I forgot about the rivet haha. Fortunately, it just rained here so it won't be a problem getting dirty :woot: lol Cheers!

The process I used was based off of several awesome weathering tutorials (should have seen them first haha). Starting with the before pic then through the process to include side by side and after pics.

Original look

step%201_zpsc4xqvlhp.jpg

Used a Black acrylic wash and then added Fuller's earth grey and tan

step%202_zpswp4mkpo8.jpg

Lightly dabbed the coat to dry faster

step%203_zpswzfr0fd3.jpg

Used a dry paper towel to remove excess weathering until I was satisfied with the look and various patterns

step%204_zpsph5om0rg.jpg

Completed weathering

Side by side comparison

OK wow. Hate to make mistakes, but I own up to them lol :6:

First, my original intent was to deploy as a regular Sandtrooper. Still new to the 501st, I thought Police Officer was the 'normal' Sandtrooper application (after requesting access) and not the lateral equivalent of a TK EIB. So I definitely want to apologize to all PO Sandtroopers and applicants for displaying my original (no where near PO level) Sandtrooper pics back in early September :D

Second, since I have gladly invested much more time into my Sandtrooper, I will continue to work hard towards PO level certification as per the new CRLs! Time to get dirtier!

Congrats Don!

You have successfully followed the guidelines in regards to the MEPD CRL and have met the requirements.

You can now march with the rest of the 'Dirty Bunch' down the halls of the Precinct. Your locker has been assigned and you are now ready to be placed on the roster among the other elite troopers.

If you plan to follow the SWAT road you have some major mods to fix;-)

Please send the pic you want to use to Luis (Sandman Tigui) and we'll get you squared away.

We will have your updated information uploaded into the MEPD system very soon.

Congratulations on becoming a Deployed Officer of the MEPD! Now please report to the Mos Eisley Mess hall where you'll serve the troopers until the next newbie gets cleared

@ Don - Congrats again and don't forget to submit a pic you would like add to the PO Roster Page. Send that pic to (Luis) Sandman Tigui for processing and I'll get you uploaded! :td::thumbsup:

Thanks Scribbler! I received a pic from Luis but it hasn't uploaded to the PO roster. I see that he has been busy :salute:
