Nicks doopydoos Bapty E-11

Recommended Posts

Ok so I thought I should document the other thing I am currently working on, which is my Bapty E-11.

From a doopydoos resin kit here are some of the small updates I have made so far.

Tiny screws added to where the resin ones were originally.

New real screws added on the front

And I also added the real screws to the cylinders as well

Only a small sample but it's a start so far anyway.

I'll keep you updated as I go along

Nick

Ok so I finished my scope now. Made all the necessary changes to make it an M38 from 1942.

I'm quite happy with the results, and I've even used some real scope lenses in it after hollowing the whole thing out.

Yes indeed mate it was actually brass painted and then used some candle wax painted on in key places before the black. Then scraped off the wax and did a bit more scraping around the edges et voila!!!

I cut the front and rear off the scope and then drilled and dremelled until I could see all the way through (from a particular angle). Then reattached the front and rear and bondoed the gaps.
