Hi **,

as a proposal I would like to start this thread as a reference libary for the Bapty/Tunisia Blaster and of cource for a discussion lounge;-)

Please feel free to add new/other references

I would like to start with some references. These are private shots, promo references and so on. To catch a clear movie reference is nearly impossible.

So let us begin with the reference shots (without comments; make your own picture...what you like or not. It's your Blaster:-) )

Ok. What defines a Bapty and makes this blaster different to the "normal" E-11 TK blaster?

1. grip*

2. trigger guard and trigger Group*

3. scope rail*

4. closed rear sight*

5. cocking handle*

6. closed return spring*

7. sanded down bullet Extractor*

8. end cap

9. no d-ring (ok, we can discuss it :teehee:)

10. shorten magazine with a wooden block

11. no magazine clip

12. no inner barrel

13. no barrel screws

14. pouring seams on the end body*

15. M38 scope*

16. Counter*

*mandatory (to discuss!!)

That is all i have at the moment.....

Cheers,

Felix

Nice one Felix :)

I think it's worth mentioning that the first two photos are Bapty recreations so only the base is original, not the Power Cylinders, T-tracks, etc.

And the eighth one down (showing a close-up of the Power Cyinders & the Hengstler resistor) is one of my replica blasters so although it's screen-accurate, none of it is original.

Cheers, Andy

(PS - It looks like the other thread got deleted)

I think he placed the 2 pics there, because of the right Power cylinder's

Yes, the first 2 photos are good photos to have for the base. However the Power Cylinders on them aren't original or screen-accurate.

If this is to be a resource for builders to make accurate replicas I'd suggest labelling photos as "original", "part-original" or "replica"

Otherwise people might accidentally use a photo of a replica as the basis for their build.

Cheers, Andy
