darthgrace
I try to act like a very strict and unfriendly street cop. A lot of barking out orders, citing rules and "move a long" comments.
trooper1
Yeah agree with Chris, usually very strict to character. I don't goof often, unless a special Olympics event. I stay to the MEPD code. Lol
THE TROOPER
Well, with small children, dont forget, we are larger than life to them. I wave to them and try to high five them. Once they see that your friendly, they smile and want to shake your hand. If at a troop and we see droids, well then i will point my weapon at them which makes for great photo ops. But most of the time its body talk, pointing, looking menacing. I love to see the smiles

Vf2112
As for acting in character I guess all you can do is watch the scenes a few more times
Smally
Rule 1) know your audience. Rule 2) have fun with it but remember, they're there to see the character, not the person.

dutchy
It's all in your non verbal communication, the way you stand, walk, look at the audience.. Saying move along the whole day might become a bit boring, try to use your imagination and have fun.
