Freak Nasty Fester
Just curious on if you need to actually paint white ABS with white paint or just do the weathering on top of the white ABS considering it is a Sandy. Thoughts?
trooper1
Just weather it!
syllander
I had intended to paint my AP set, but I got a piece naturally dirty just to kind of dry run the attempt. It loses that plastic look once it gets weathered appropriately, so I'm only painting the helmet.
trooper1
I have AP as well, and didn't paint any of it. Just weathered. If I have a HIPS or styrene I paint it.
iconoclasta_88
AP is made of ABS isn't it? Just like original armor. And that was not painted white. Just the buckets were painted cause they were made of green plastic. So, no. just do the weathering and on top you can seal it with either a clear coat over the weathering or just plain hair spray. No worries. It will look good for you. Saludos.
