I'm not worry about that Rick! I just wanna help and said something wrong:( i thought every pack has a lap pipe for swat because i followed the discussion from Daniels swat approvement about the pipe. But this was a misunderstanding by my own.

I have a lot to learn and thats i'm here......

So long...move along...

@ Felix - No worries, Brother! Things can be missed from time to time and it's a credit to you and the Precinct to be aware of the details to help keep everyone sharp! (including us on Command Staff)

It's all good, my friend!

It just goes to show you that the MEPD definitely looks out for each other! :td::thumbsup:

Added a couple of pics of the adjustments to the mortar tube, including the drilled hole and new placement of the keypad. Also added pics of my attempts at the "battle damaged" tape on the seed tray, as well as the tape detail on the cistern.

A.) DEPLOYMENT OFFICER:

Regarding your pauldron, I totally understand the frustrations of unpredictable results when trying to photograph weathering details on our gear. I do take your word that you have weathered it enough for the naked eye. With that said, it wouldn't hurt to work it a bit more in the black section grooves as well as the orange area (but not to the point where the other areas are darker than the 'circle' accent).

This way, the details and weathering will stand out without question during normal photo ops when you are out there trooping. I did that myself to my pauldron and this annoying part of the process has affected a lot of TDs in the past as well. But, we're dirty already so it won't be too much of a chore. lol

Final notes: Still waiting to see if you are going to add the 'tear' / notch in the top area of the right thigh...

Here's a pic from Victor's (Boltstrooper) attempt on his SWAT Application.

And getting back to your shoulder pouch, I'd still like to see you adjust the placement to match the onscreen look (raised up a bit and hanging off more to the left side a bit).

Remember, all these requested mods can always be re-adjusted to your own personal preferences later when you are out there trooping. These application pics are all for archive purposes anyway.

Thanks again to everyone for the comments and guidance... truly a labor of love.

Added pics of:

*Additional pauldron weathering (Take 3)

*Thickening of siphon tape details (Take 2)

*Addition of tape on right shoulder bell

*Right thigh "notch"

Final weathering on these corrected parts (where necessary) will be captured in the next round of suited up photos. Will also adjust shoulder pouch position in next round of submission pics... crossing fingers for this weekend.

Just waiting on parts for the stinger extension, and I should be good to go. Hopefully, anyway.

:)

Hey Andy, great looking TD you've got!

Congrats already on an impressive armor.

Do have one question, and it might be for Mike aswel, I have lost track of a few evolutions on research and referencing in these last months, but, is it an agreement that the Move Along Trooper's E11 does not has a Counter?

The only reference I have is this... where you can see through the scope reel that something square is behind it, blocking the light, in the exact same place as the counter should be.

Now, I dont really remember what has been the standard for other similar SWAT applications, but I remember during Samlly's SWAT thread this to be discussed, "proven" to not be there based on a logic for this picture, but then "proven" again to be there with another logic and theory.

So, whats the rule to date?

Sorry if I am out of place, I think Mike should have the final saying on this as our DO.

:)

Saludos

@ Juan - I would put this alongside the 'Lab Pipe' discussion regarding details on the MAT. Like the LP, I think that this detail has become more of an option now I think, but the last info I received was that the counter was not there. I vote for it being optional as most E-11s out there have the counter. (Most Hyperfirms have the counter, so it'll be tough for owners with those versions).

Open to suggestions as always, Boss!

I think it is fine as you said, being it optional. Since the whole program is based on what we can and cant seen on screen. And I have not been able to find a single hard proof of the counter being there, even if off production references show it.

Optional until we know better sounds about right!

:)

No other comment from me, apart from what you have assessed already.

Saludos
