...but i think a really nice blaster, too:-)

This is an original sterling with an original scope and an original hengstler. I didn't painted the sterling because i love

the original taste of the colors. I just painted the scope rail (real steal), the central fuses and the hengstler (a little bit). I think i touched the

selfpainted colors with the original near 90%.

Here are the build and the results.....

it is a de-milled one from http://www.zib-militaria.de/epages/61431412.sf/de_DE/?ObjectID=22669304. The t-tracks and the scope are from marv (fisd) and the hengstler from Jens (fisd).

The sequences of colors are:

1. base coat

2. black RAL 9005

3. Hammerit(rust prevention color) brown (matt varnish) spotted with the sponge

draying about 3-5 minutes

4. Hammerit black structure effect. spotted and coated with the sponge again (change between slightly and strong mask the brown color)

5. drying again 3 min. then spotted with the sponge or finger for your prefered result.

The best is: this method is very simple. Ok, you need the colors but i think every rust prevention color works fine. Don't use hammer finish varnish...for me it looks like a peace of fence:-)
