boydey
Could I trouble for a parts list for the drum magazine? The whole build is very clean. Now get it dirty. Sorry Steve did't see your post before. The magazine drum is pretty much 2 pieces of drain pipe, with the back and from pieces made a sheet of 2mm ABS. boydey
Getting there slowly, MG 15 is now finished. Built up my lid and collected a couple more bits.

Big_Sarge
This is a superb scratch build here. One of the best I've seen
Fumanchewie
Very impressive start to finish! How did you do the stamp detail? http://s1264.photobucket.com/user/boydey77/media/mg15%20wip/DSC03915.jpg.html
deviled Roe
If he used PVC, and had some typeface settings. Could easily make a brand. Heat it up and melt the plastic. would look cold-stamped once painted.
boydey
Sorry only just spotted this. Yes I used a set of 'letter puches', heated them up over the gas hob and pressed them into the plastic.
TazVader
Wow...that was a clever idea. I have some questions too;) If you have a spare minute anyways bor? 1. What scopes did you use? Were they airsoft? 2. For the smaller diameter drainpipe in the centre of each mag drum how did you attach it to the middle of the abs back plates? 3. Did you use a specific template for anything or just eyeball it? finally what did u use for your rust effect? It looks awesome!!!!!!! boydey
No problem Taz 1, For the scopes, the front one is the cheapest one I could find on Ebay, like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x20-rifle-scope-/231293294532?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item35da2797c4 The one on the back right is off a Hasbro Rebels blaster http://starwars.hasbro.com/en-us/product/star-wars-rebel-trooper-electronic-blaster:5D8C2ADA-5056-900B-10BE-66D928512EE5 and the one that has the hose attached is just different sizes of pvc pipe. 2, Right, to attach the pipe I used a holes saw to cut out some MDF discs that were the same size as the inside diameter of the pipe. These were then glued half way down inside the pipe. Then if you look at the back plate there is a large bolt in the centre of each side, this goes through the middle of the MDF disc and is held in place by a nut inside the open end on the small pipe. The ends of the bolts are then hidden by the 'winders' that are radiator bleed keys. 3, The measurements are pretty much all guess work really. For the rust I use this stuff, http://ak-interactive.com/ecomm/?acc=Catalog&sacc=view&IDCat=17&p=1&idp=58&idc=18#.U_g5CUtH38s Its really easy to use and and gives pretty good results. ............hope thats of some use to you David
