Havoc6538
Well, looks like - against the odds - my lung has done exactly what was hoped. It fully inflated and, crucially, stayed that way and seems to have adhered to the chest wall. This means I have avoided surgery, which I am pleased about! It also means that the doctor was happy to remove the drainage and discharge me from hosital last Saturday and I'm now chilling at home. I've been signed off work for another week and have a follow up xray in a couple of weeks just to make sure everything is still ok. Thanks for the kind words and support while I was in hospital.
