Sandtrooper 66
Hi guys I was wondering if you are supposed to weather before assembly or after. Sandtrooper
DarthChridan
Absolutely after the assembling of the armour!!!...then you have a better view of the whole picture/armour and you know better where you add the 'dirt-details'....that's my opinion
Havoc6538
Yup, after. Make sure your alterations are done before the weathering. As well as the point made by Daniel, above, if anything went wrong or you needed to replace a section due to mistakes, you'd have to do the weathering all over again. I found my original legs weren't long enough, so had to get a different set. I would have been gutted if I'd wasted all the time and research weathering the old ones only to replace them and have to start again. Sandman Tigui
It's said it bro, after, after, after it is. At times it's like building a full scale modeling kit you cut, trim and glue the parts and then you paint oh well weather I mean
Smally
Before. Not really,
DirtyBoy
Id say afterwards. You want to make sure the fit is correct and your night fighting dirt for adherence of your adhesives
SCRIBBLER
During. Nah but, seriously...after.

sir david
always afterwards dude ! ,as you can blend the shades and effect in a lot better over an assembled suit of armour ,and as lee said above you get a better view of the whole picture then ! darthgrace
I would weather after because you want it to be uniform. If you need to make alterations there mught be straight lines in your weathering or odd looking patterns.
