First time out in my TD

Not a 501st troop, just a little event I attended with Kent based costuming group Kenturions to help raise money for Demelza House, a local children's hospice.

It was a fun run around Brands Hatch racing circuit. We walked around the track with the runners and walkers (got lapped a couple of times) then had pics taken afterwards.

It was only a short troop - early start, in armour by 8am, all over by 11am, but a great chance to spend a few hours in the costume to see how comfy it was. The good news is that nothing broke or fell off, (I think I need to add a velcro tab to the left calf to stop it rotating inward) but I am aware of a couple of places that could do with a little padding before my first proper troop at Legoland next weekend.

The hill up to Druids is steeper than it looks...

So we paused for a photo at the top to get our breath back before heading down to Graham Hill bend, behind us in this pic.
