rhapsodyred99
Looking good, just remember the belt needs to be just under the ab box, you have it a little low on these preliminary pics.
tk5144
oh ya baby!!!! off to a great start!! Thanks! the pack kit from you is still waiting for me too! looking forward to building it
inglorious trooper
looking good derek, coming along nicely man! something that would help with the look, and your movement is to try and bring your thighs up a little higher. losing some of black undersuit and evening it out a bit at the top of the shins can make quite a lot of difference when walking! Joe Versku
Do u have side shots and close up of your road block pouch ?
Gordonator
Nice to see a fresh brand new sparklingly clean cadet out of the academy. The belt seems to be hanging a little low. Other than that, good luck and see u around soon.
tk5144
definitely gotta lift the belt a little... that should be easy. lifting the thighs will be a little harder. I am going to try to decrease the return edge at the top of the leg - otherwise I am going to have to open up the back of the legs to make the shim at the back wider on the upper leg pieces. Those are the only pics I took. Just suited up quick with what I had done so far. The pouches are also seen here http://forum.mepd.ne...138#entry137359 so far my check list includes lower belt ( I think adding some velcro will do it. raise (possibly enlarge) thighs adjust strapping between back plate and kidney piece add rubber handguards find my TKboots (those are my old "darkside" trooperboots) straighten the left bicep - may need to strap it to the shoulder bell to keep it from spinning. add rivets to left side gap. (I may still need to take a little off the kidney piece first... I want to be sure the size is right before adding rivets) adjust the closure system on the lower legs adjust the right forearm. may need to make it a little smaller - maybe just add some padding (it seems to slip down) weather everything build my dirtyboy pack finish my MG15
inglorious trooper
your mg15 s coming along nicely derek! im going to send you some pics of my armour which might help you with an idea for straightening the left bicep, also for adjusting the right forearm! let me dig them out! tk5144
It is amazing to me how clean the armor looks in the photos. I used Fuller's earth and it looks nice and dirty in person..... I might add a little more, but I don't want to over do the weathering.
