Hey Glenn...

looking good so far, mate.

The armour is a TM, right!?! I love it too

A question about your weathering/ trooper style, then I think you go for SWAT in the near future.

The flame weathering on the helmet is to far off the middle, because it's rather in the middle positioned. Look at here--->

Then the tubestripes....Davin's helmet has 15 stripes each side.

Then the next question about your gear. You wear the captain's pack...respectively the desert pack of Davin Felth and your primary weapon is the DLT-19....it reveals itself, that you present no specific version?!?!

http://forum.mepd.ne...?showtopic=7255

...either the E-11 Blaster for the desert version or the filter pack n°5 for the cantina version. But ok, it's not too tragic...it's first the 'Police Officer' request....but like I wrote....I think you go in the near future for SWAT ;)

At next your weapon especially....at the left side it still lacks the ammo box and at the right side the other details of the MG34.

The next missed detail is the wire at the t-tracks and the missed painting--->>

Ok, that' it of my side so far.....good luck with your application, trooper :salute:

But the last word has as always our Mike ;)

The canvas straps were 'Tea-bagged' I will harshen them up, or will submit my elastic straps which are more weathered.

I will have to get some materials for the DLT Ammo box and upgrades....gutted that it is the weapon thats now holding the submission up :(

As usual my brains gone into 'If its worth doing, its worth doing properly' mode and I'm maybe thinking about going into to much detail on this.

gonna practive with some carboard to see what I can come up with. Got ssome lovely close up photos as reference. Will let you know how I get on.

I know in the past people have sometimes even just made it out of wood. I reckon you could possibly scratch build it out of styrene.

Did you get anywhere with the mortar tube. That was the only thing other than the DLT-19 that I was gonna mention. It is a little too long at the top. Other than that its a cracking build mate. Really impressed.

Hope so Grant would love to get you amongst the dirty ranks here.

Nick

Yeh my new RS is about done but if it doesn't give me the look I want (I sold my TM as it was a little stretched being 6' plus) I'm going dirty in the hope that the pauldron, etc. will offset the fit and pad it out a little........oh & seeing Glen in action at Manchester made me drool!! Just need a t-21 though rather than that pea-shooter mate!!
