SCRIBBLER
Mission Report Submitted by: SCRIBBLER / TD-6985 / Route 66 Patrol Event Title: "MUSCLE WALK" TOY DRIVE / Hosted by The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Location: Griffith Park -- Los Angeles, CA Date: SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9, 2013 Call time: 7:00am Duration of event: 8:00am - 1:00pm "The MDA Muscle Walk is a local event that pays tribute to those children and adults with Muscular Dystrophy, while raising funds to support MDA's missions of help and hope. The walks are family-oriented gatherings that are open and accessible to everyone-children, adults, grandparents, students, corporate teams and more. The Southern California Garrison made their presence felt to add atmosphere and bring some STAR WARS love!" That's pretty much what it's all about and why we all do this. Eh, Troops? MEPD Representatives: ROUTE 66 PATROL (The 66ers) TD-5823 / "RETUNHHA" - MG-15 TD-5823 / "JAVELIN" - DLT-19 TD-5823 / "SCRIBBLER" - DLT-19 / E-11 TD-5823 / "SKLAR" *Patrol Leader* (Provided Plainclothes Wrangler support) The weather was cold enough to have a few of us consider switching our designations to TS! haha But, with the enthusiasm of all the Garrison members, the added adrenaline helped us power through the cold temperature to put up a good showing for all those who attended! Along with the newly established SANDSTORM PATROL (TDs), which also provide support for the Southern California Garrison for this fine event, this turned out to be a fantastic day! Sandtroopers were everywhere! lol As always, it was an honor to represent the MEPD! Here are a few pics from the day... SCRIBBLER
@ Marcus - Thanks, Brother! We're at our limit of 10 patrol members total and working very hard to represent the MEPD the best that we can! We're all currently laying low. It's usually slow for us between October and March. We'll start going fully active around mid-Spring through the Summer and then wrap things up by Fall. Right now, we're tending to Armor mods, project planning and trying to take care of things we've been working on since last Summer. We have a tight knit and VERY patient group of troopers here and we promise that there are some surprises in store for 2013!
