Pino Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 HOOAH troops. I have a question about painting the softpouch. my leather pouch was done with 2 layers of Black shoe paint. How do i have to do it on the soft one? leatherparts with leatherpaint, and the softpart? Can i use the leatherpaint too? dutchy Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I used some matt black Humbrol paint...put some pieces of wood in the mag slots. Painted it, let it dry. inglorious trooper Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 i just bought a black dye, it only dyed the canvas and not the leather strapping,also it didnt turn out black but more of a dark green/black colour which is really what you want! after that i just took them outside and gave them a good kick about the floor to weather them(thats the best bit!lol) oh and yes as what was said before,be a good idea to put some blocks inside to give them shape,tends to help them stay that way once they dry!!
