SNOWMAN
I use 2" nylon straps currently, found them in a surplus supply store.
inglorious trooper
most people slide the angled loops on the back of there pouches through there left strap on there pack with a bit of velcro to hold it in place! does that make sense? also i use some old rucksack straps from my camping days dyed black! bjsavage7
I use the nylon straps as well. I use the same to connect my shoulder pouch, but will probably add something else (Velcro probably) since it flops around a bit much.
P3laton3
I followed the Marcus way, an old rucksack, much more confortable
JARHEAD-89
I'm using ALICE pack straps that I've dyed black. Cool thing is the quick release to allow a fast exit if needed.
TD2298
Do you just go with two ALICE pack straps to hold the pack on? No other type of support?
iconoclasta_88
I butchered my old highschool pack, and used the straps. Very comfortable. Saludos
MonCal
I butchered my old highschool pack, and used the straps. Very comfortable. Saludos This is what I was thinking of doing. I have this system on my jango pack and it's nice (underneath the jumpsuit). I used regular nylon straps for my boba costume and those things dig in like crazy. My max is about 5 hours in that costume
Rubber
I also used an old backpack we had at home. The pouch slips over the strap and I have Velcro on the back of the pouch and on my pauldron to stop it from moving.
Smally
The skin of dead Jawas. It's surprisingly tough.
Elegance
Im using some 50mm wide webbing now with the same sized quick release snap-type buckles at the bottom, seems to be working ok but after 3-4hours I start to feel that pack so need to pad it.
