silverboyd
Although I did not post this event my Garrison forums, I had the pleasure of helping out a co-worker by riding on his Christmas float in the Mt. Pleasant Christmas Parade last night (Dec. 9). He's the leader of Cub Scout Pack 505 here in Charleston, SC. Their motto is, "We'll camp anywhere." This year was set during the Battle of Hoth. They even built a 13'-0" AT-AT and asked me to ride along in full armor even though I'm a Sandtrooper. I was more than happy to do so. You can't see in the pics but there were also 30-40 scouts marching behind the float. If there was more room on the float he would've asked the Garrison to join and it could've been an "official" event. The crowd loved us. Here are a few pics of the float just before the parade started After the parade I met a great group of pirates known as the Charles Towne Few.
