TD-0013
Cool stuff! I really need to rebuild my own pack, and make it a bit more accurate.... Great job, though, Bama!

TD257
Very nice...I'm liking the diversity of all the packs around here. I'm also very impressed with the quality of them all. When I build my next one, I'm going to have a hard time deciding what ideas to rip off.

bamatrooper
thanks for the comments. The biggest thing i've learned is to think light and use Zip ties! yep I built the whole thing with rivets and Zip ties. It makes changing out components and upgrades easier too, just cut the tie and replace when done.! I've added the shoulder pouch to the pack as well, like the movie troopers had done... seems to work well. -Bamatrooper TD-
abntroop
yeah, I agree, I used alot of epoxy on my first pack, and realized quickly that it gets heavy after you use enough of it. all rivets and zip ties now as well.
TK_6873
I added pads to the straps right where they hit the armpit/shoulder area. I had alot of trouble with cutting off blood circulation with the nylon straps gathering and digging in due to the weight of the pack. Fingers a' tingling. The pads helped out alot. Now I've based my pack on the latest 'Bamatrooper design' and his suggestion for use of zip-ties and rivets. My pack now weighs less than half what my last one did. TD-4242
Light, I used abs and abs cement to do my pack and it worked out nice. The wole thing is only about 6lbs.
Jack_bauer
My second pack is a built up version of my first one. Mostly the same parts different scheme and slightly different paint job. http://us.f3.yahoofs.com/users/41c52a40 ... CBn3FjtYyk
